Day 3

Today we started fishing at East Lake Toho again.

The temperature was still cold and it was a little windy.

I thought I could not catch any fish again because of the cold air.

But in the afternoon it started to get a little warmer and the wind stopped blowing for a while.

After some time I still could not catch any fish, but in a hour or so I finally catched a fish

This is the picture of the fish below.

This bass was the only fish I catched today.

Still Cold!

We have moved to the Orlando area.

I'm going to be fishing at Lake Toho & East lake Toho.

I have already fished two days.

The temperature was still cold. I have never experienced this cold air during the last 7years.

Day One

I have started fishing at East Lake Toho.

4years ago I have catched 8pounds and 8oz. bass at East

Lake Toho.

I usually catch a big fish every single year in the same spot at the East Lake.

But the first day it was very cold so the fish was not active as

much as they are in the warm weather.

But one of our staff caught one fish.

But since there was a battery problem we could not continue our fishing.(very unlucky)

Day 2

The second day I started fishing at Lake Toho.

In the morning it was quiet, there wasn't much wind.

In the middle of the lake there is a weed area where I caught the first fish with the lipless cranckbait.

But after that the wind started to blew harder, the wind blew 20mph.

Since the wind was blowing, it was very hard for us to fish.

This is a fish is called a pike. It has attacked my lipless crankbait too.

According to the forecast, the temperature will be more colder tomorrow.

I guess this trip was th most difficult fishing trip since 2002.

Deadlock!

We finally reached deadlock! The weather improved continuouslly.

Today it was very warm in the morning.

But in the afternoon it became very cloudy and by 4:00 it was raining.

But still in this weather,This trip is very tough for us.

But fortunately , we got small rush by light texas rig with swimbait at the last minute.

We had fun time. Today is last day of this Okeechobee trip .

However, I swore to be going to return here in the near future to the mind.

Tomorrow,we are going to move to Orlando area.

Next report probably on Sunday night about Lake Toho.

The lake is my home lake on this season of year.

Hopefully more better result will come.

Turn Over!

The fish still isn't active. Also the water of the main lake is sill not clear.

I think the water was turned over. Currently the cleared water covers a little amount of area and it is only available in the closed area like the following picture.Still the cold front affects this area so the fishes are not very active.

Can you see the beds in the center of this following picture?

Today I found several spawning beds but all beds were empty.

I was very disappointed. Original my plan was sight fishing,this is short cut for Big Bass.

Anyway this is the alligator we saw when we were fishing. We saw 4 or 5 alligators resting on land and well.....they were very large. I could not believe my eyes when I saw them. Since we are from IN. we don't see alligators very often.

Day 3 Report

The temperature has improved a little but the air is still cold and windy.

Today we visited the "Monkey Box" .

There were 5 or 6 boats out in the ''Monkey Box''

so I thought it was a good fishing spot,

but........I could only catch 1 fish.

And well.....that fish was a very little fish.

It was so small that I didn't even notice that I caught it.

It seems that George is holding a...... squirrel!?

2ND DAY REPORT

2nd Day. The cold air is still covering part of Florida.

Today I chose to fish at the Okeetanti ramp.6miles away from Okeechobee town.

Today I caught this big, slimy, and heavy fish.

It was terrifying!!!

This is a Maaaaadfish. 5 lb 8oz!

It was so slimy that when I tried to grab it escaped from my grasp.

And well, when it did it landed very close to my daughters feet and she didn't like it one bit.

I guess it was terrifying for her too.

1st Day Report! Dec/21/2009

Soo Cold! It feels just like Indiana, 45degree!! Unbelievable!

I didn't feel so good under this cold weather.

And the lake is huge, But the average depth of the area I was fishing in is 3 feet.

I didn't have much confidence to drive my boat at 40mph,

because if the boat got stuck, nobody will be there to help us.

When I started it wasn't so good,

as soon as I got outside I knew that the fishes aren't gonna want to come out.

Half an hour later.......Still NOT 1 bite, and NOT 1 fish!!!!

Then I cleared out my mind and started thinking positive. I rigged my crank to search the position of my target.

By 2:30PM I caught my 1st fish with my very own B-Flat. This was a very small fish but that small fish is enough to convince me that there are fishes swimming there and that I should keep fishing.

By 3:30PM, What I was waiting for!! THE BIG BASS!!

When I started it wasn't so good but by the end it was great!

Okeechobeeeeeeee!

On 2nd Day, I arrived lake Okeechobee. 1100mile !!

The opposite bank is not seen. Lake is so huge.

Currently I arrived Ashburn GA. 680miles from Indiana.

Tomorrow I still need to drive 380mile to Okeechobee.

I'm tired. Good night guys.

Today is snow in Indiana!!

I have to drive to Florida about 18hours with my boat for fun fishing.

That is very long drive.

This Mounted bass caught last year at lake toho.

7lb 23inch. Not very big in Florida, it is　Florida.

The count down is starting !

I'm going to visit lake Okeechobee & Toho in Florida next two weeks.

I have prepared special tackle for these lake.

1 1/2oz Tungsten sinker for Flipping!

I may catch the dream if bass be in the spawning bed!

Normally best season will be start Mid of January.

But if temperature goes down, then up. That would be good chance for meeting big mamas.

Cruising to Florida! Our equipments.

This is our cruiser.

Toyota FJ Cruiser 4.0l V8 Very poweful engine!

Since 2007, we are safely carried to Florida by this.

And this is our boat.

Ranger 17.5ft 4stroke /115hp is not so big and fast.

But both equipment have very good quality.

I never trouble on the water since 2002. I'm trusting these.

New Weapon!

Depth finder: this item is very important for bass fishing.

20years ago, I remember surprising when I used depth finder for the first time.

This devise changed my fishing style.

And now I'm having same feeling from Hummingbird 797c2.

GPS technology and Side View imaging system can change my fishing style significantly.

I am looking forward to the use of this in Florida this Dec.

Is Indiana fishing season end?

Currently temp is under 60F .

Also every day is windy.

Maybe end of season?????

But this season-off will be busy!!

Because we are going to start production at last.

Honey Spot

Day2 Finally we found honey spot of small.

There was on middle of lake and the depth was 12~15 feet.

There is very short weed.

St.Clair Report

I was hoping on best season at that time.

But I lost fish on all weekend.

Especially I could not find small mouth.

I spend long time for 10 to 13feet weed area.

That area is looks very good for stocking bass.

But I caught only 1~2lb large.

Where are you !!!

2nd Field Trip "Lake ST Clair,MI"

Tomorrow,

I'm going to go Lake St Clair MI.

This visiting is 2nd on this year.

Currently good 'Crank season!!"

I hope up good result tomorrow.

Back!

I'm back.

Current season of Japan is very very tough for me.

Because humidity level is very high.

I sweated though I did not do anything.

And "Traffic Jam"

Traffic jam has happened everywhere in Japan.I spend one hour for just 7 mile drive.

I visited a nostalgic place. "Usikunuma"

My wife caught 4lb bass 20years ago.

Now Japan have world record but at that time, that size bass is valuable.

Because 1st Bass came US in 1925.

But actually large mouth bass living area expanded to each place of Japan on the latter half of the 1970's.

And, there is famous food in Usikunuma in Japan.

It is ???????

What is this? Do yon know?

This is a bowl of eel and rice. Eel is famous and also expensive in Japan.

This lunch is $30.

How about you though felt ? It is delicious for us.

Big Surprising!!!!

According to the news,　The Worldｓ record Large mouth was caught at Lake Biwa in Japan!!

It is the largest lake in Japan. In my opinion it's a very beautiful lake.

The water is clear and there's a lot of weed and spots that are very deep. About 350 feet!　

I even made a record of my own at the lake.The fish that I caught 12years ago was 22inch 5lb.

All the bass that lives in Japan came from the US.

Most wild fish that lives in Japan don't eat other fishes so they mostly eat weeds and plankton.

So the bass is the strongest species in Japan and they don't have any enemies.

I'm guessing the environment created the monster!

This great news is a big surprise for me!!

Day2

We started field test at 10:00 AM.

Today's main purpose was checking of BM-Flat Micro.

This is smaller than Normal. So I hope more brisk action to the Micro.

The result of teast:

I loved these action and size.

And I caught couple of fish by Micro between test.

I decided to add BM-Flat Micro to our list .

Field Test at Lake St. Clair Day1

Lot #4 was finished in a hotel at 11:30pm on the way to Detroit.

I'm going to be very sleepy tomorrow.

Day1 Lake ST.Clair MI

The wind is cold today.

The major spot of this lake is a weed bed area but also a dredging area too.

But I never reach a dredging area because strong wind blows many times and the waves are high, therefore it is a very risk y for my small boat to handle.

So I always fish at the weed area near the ramp.

The depth of the weed area is 3~15ft.This situation is perfect for the BM-Flat!

I tried lot#4 .

I repeated casting each bait and checking the action one by one.

I casted some of those to a good spot sometimes.

Sometimes I caught a Bass when I was testing !!

In a case like that I have a self-satisfaction for my Baits!

We have finished painting all our products and went through 1st coating.

This lot is 16pcs and this is a mass production for us.

Lot# 2009 04 Now Processing !

We are processing Lot#200904.

These are a normal BM-Flat l and the new BM-Flat micro(prototype)

We are going to Lake ST.Clair Detroit Mi to test my new products

and I have to finish by Thursday. "Oh Noooo!

But, I did catch some Small mouth Bass which were about 3~5Ib every year on Lake ST.Clair

The lake is the best and a perfect place for a test field for our flat side crank bait.

I strongly recommend this lake if you have a chance to go.
